'It's never too late to start! Helen has been my piano teacher for the past two years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Taking up the piano in my fifties has been an exciting challenge, and I enjoy my lessons immensely. I am keen to progress through the grades and Helen is helping me develop my skills, whether that is trying different ways of approaching difficult pieces, understanding the music theory behind the notes on the page, or improving muscle memory by repetition and practice. At times it really does feel like my brain is doing a workout! She provides me with excellent practice plans between lessons to keep me focused, but most of all, Helen makes my learning fun.'

'Helen has been teaching my daughter, Bethany for nearly four years now and her lesson is the highlight of her week. Helen is a wonderful teacher with a very high level of personal talent and a love of music. When Bethany first began lessons she was very nervous and shy but Helen has always made her feel welcome and has come up with ways to help support her over the years, whilst progressing her at her own pace and using her interests to keep her motivated and inspired to learn. Bethany struggles with anxiety but finds playing the piano takes her somewhere she can forget about her troubles, even just for a little while. Helen has supported us as a family through some times when Bethany's routines have taken over but I know that the half hour a week that Bethany spends with her is a time of joy and happiness; a time to enjoy learning to play, sing and laugh.'

'Kelvin has been playing beautiful music, we don't even need to prompt him to play and practice as he plays to relax too.'
